Hold It...

So far, I have gained a grand total of 40 lbs during this pregnancy... FORTY FREAKING POUNDS!!!! But as far as I can tell, it's not showing anywhere else but the belly.

But here is the real kicker....

This little guy will be at least double his current weight before he is born. I still have around 9 more weeks to gain lots more pounds.  Any guesses as to what my total weight gain will be??  I'm not surprised if I go over 50 to be honest. 

According to babycenter.com, I'm already 5 pounds over the expected weight that I'm suppose to be at when he is born.   

At this point, all I can really do is laugh. Laugh at me, laugh at the scale, and laugh at their stupid pregnancy weight chart.

    Oh the joys of weight gain during pregnancy! Every time I stepped on the scale at the doctor's office I almost had a heart attack as I calculated how many pounds I'd gained that month or week. And then they check your blood pressure right after that! Are you kidding me?! Of course it's a little high, you just showed me how much I weigh! lol
